KATRICE (Tricey) MONETTE ADAMS was prematurely born on Sunday, August 28, 1977 to Regina and Matthew Brown at Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace, Maryland weighing only two pounds. She departed this life on Thursday October 17, 2019 at Upper Chesapeake Hospital in Bel Air, Maryland.

Tricey received her early education in the Harford County Public School System Assistant Tech at Florida Career College education and studying medical administration while residing in

She was briefly employed as an Assistant Manager for Wendy’s and Michael’s craft supplies. Her entrepreneurial spirit and love of children lead her to open a Day Care in her home. While residing in Florida she started Jantress, a janitorial service which specialized in cleaning homes of the elderly, sick and shut in. She sold her company name and returned to Maryland.

Tricey’s was a kind caring and loving sister and friend who enjoyed sharing a moment spending time with family or friends. She embraced everyone she met as a friend. Tricey was a poet and artist. She loved painting, creating jewelry, writing poetry and refurbishing furniture. She saw beauty in items that we would call junk or trash. A true optimist!

Tricey was christened at Mt. Calvary U.A.M.E Church, a member of its Sunday School, Youth Choir, Youth Activity Board and church until she was baptized in the name of Jesus at Word in Season in Warner Robins, Georgia.

Tricey leaves to cherish her memory a loving mother Regina Paul and stepfather Rolston Paul, Edgewood, Maryland, sister Mattrina Johnson, Augusta, Georgia, brother Kierre Amos, Aberdeen, Maryland, brother-in-law Charles Johnson Arkansas, a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father Matthew Noble Brown.
